At RL Home, we provide made-to-measure Bandalux solutions for interiors and exteriors, with personalised advice, selection of fabrics and finishes, measuring and specialist installation.
At our showroom in the Palmela/Azeitão area, you can explore different solutions and view samples of Bandalux technical and decorative fabrics. We help you choose the most suitable system for each space, taking into account solar orientation, natural light, privacy, thermal comfort, window characteristics and integration with the interior design.
We work mainly across the Margem Sul, Setúbal, Palmela, Azeitão and Lisbon, as well as in other areas subject to prior assessment.
Much more than choosing a blind
The same window can require very different solutions.
In a living room, the priority may be to reduce direct sunlight and heat while maintaining natural light and views to the outside. In a bedroom, greater darkness and privacy may be more important. In other spaces, the aim may be to reduce glare, protect furniture and flooring from sunlight, or find a discreet solution that integrates naturally with the architecture and interior design.
At RL Home, we do not start simply by choosing a blind model.
We analyse the space and help define the most suitable system, fabric, colour, texture and level of transparency for the desired result.
Screen, Blackout and Decorative Fabrics
Bandalux offers a wide range of technical and decorative fabrics, allowing each solution to be adapted to the specific requirements of each interior.
Screen
Screen fabrics help control natural light and solar exposure, contributing to improved thermal and visual comfort.
Different openness factors and levels of transparency are available, allowing the right balance between natural light, outward visibility and privacy.
They are particularly suitable for living rooms, offices, large glazed areas and spaces with significant sun exposure.
Blackout
For bedrooms and other spaces where greater light control is required, blackout solutions can provide a high level of room darkening.
The choice of fabric, system, cassette and, when required, side guides is important in achieving the intended result.
Translucent and decorative fabrics
When the aim is to filter light gently while maintaining a lighter atmosphere, translucent fabrics and collections with different textures, colours and finishes can be used.
The wide variety available makes it possible to integrate the blind into the interior design, turning it into both a functional and decorative element.
Made-to-measure Bandalux solutions
Depending on the characteristics of each window and space, we can propose different Bandalux solutions, including:
- Made-to-measure roller blinds
- Screen blinds
- Blackout blinds
- Cassette systems
- ZIP systems with side guides
- Night & Day blinds
- Dual systems combining different fabrics
- Pleated blinds
- Vertical blinds
- Venetian blinds
- Sliding panel systems
- Solutions for large glazed areas
- Solutions for skylights and special windows
- No-drill systems, where technically compatible with the existing window
- Manual and motorised solutions
- Indoor and outdoor solutions
Each solution is defined according to the dimensions, type of window frame, solar orientation, use of the space and the desired aesthetic result.
Motorisation and automation
Bandalux systems can be configured with different manual or motorised operating options.
Motorisation provides greater comfort and is particularly useful for large windows, hard-to-reach areas or when several blinds are installed within the same space.
We can study the most appropriate solution for a single room or for different areas of the home, including compatible control and automation systems.
No-drill solutions for existing windows
For certain types of windows, solutions are available that allow the blind to be fitted directly to the window or close to the glass without drilling into the window frame.
This can be particularly useful in completed homes, recently installed window frames or situations where a discreet and minimally invasive installation is preferred.
Compatibility must always be assessed according to the window type, dimensions and existing system.
Showroom with Bandalux samples on Lisbon's South Bank
At the RL Home showroom in the Palmela/Azeitão area, you can view Bandalux samples and compare fabrics, colours, textures, levels of transparency and different solar protection solutions.
Visits are preferably by appointment, allowing us to carefully assess the characteristics of your space and present the most appropriate options.
For an initial consultation, you can bring photographs of the windows together with approximate measurements.
On-site consultation and advice
When the characteristics of the project justify it, we can visit the client's home or premises to assess the windows, solar exposure, privacy requirements and integration with the existing interior design.
On-site visits are arranged following a prior assessment of feasibility and are subject to a consultation fee.
If the project is subsequently awarded to RL Home, the agreed consultation fee is deducted from the supply cost.
Measuring, supply and installation
Once the solution has been selected, we manage the entire process:
Advice → selection of system and fabric → technical measurement → quotation → order → installation.
Installation is carried out by specialist professionals, helping to ensure the correct fitting and operation of the systems.
For existing homes and renovation projects
You do not need to be building a new home to benefit from an appropriate solar protection solution.
We can work in apartments, houses and other completed spaces, adding new solutions to existing windows or replacing previous systems.
This is precisely where professional guidance can make a difference: selecting a solution that responds to light, temperature and privacy requirements while also integrating naturally with the existing interior design.
