At RL Home we develop signature interior decoration and design projects for private homes, shops and offices, as full turnkey services. In every space we work with light, proportion, colour and materials to create interiors with soul – functional, comfortable and tailored to the way you live.

Based on the south side of Lisbon and mainly working in Setúbal, Lisbon, Cascais and Sintra, we accompany every stage of the project: concept, space study, 3D visualisations, selection of materials and furniture, site coordination and final styling. When it makes sense for both client and team, we also extend our work to other regions of the country, assessed case by case.

We work by appointment at our showroom in the Palmela/Azeitão area, in online meetings and also at your home or business, to ensure close, personalised follow-up that reflects the identity of each project.

Interior Design Projects

At RL Home, every interior design project is conceived as a bespoke interior, tailored to the way people live in the space. We combine comfort, function and a timeless aesthetic, with contemporary influences and a thoughtful mix of materials that give each project its own character.

Interior Architecture Project

Interior architecture allows us to create carefully designed spaces that have a direct impact on everyday comfort and well-being. At RL Home we develop interior architecture projects for refurbishments and new builds, always working closely with our clients and with the construction teams.

In every project we work with light, proportion, circulation and function, so that the space is beautiful, comfortable and easy to live in day to day.

In our studio we follow all stages of the interior architecture project:
• Site survey and needs assessment
• Layout study and concept development
• Selection of materials (floors, walls, ceilings, joinery and fixed furniture), with samples
• Specification of fixed equipment for kitchens and bathrooms (taps, sanitary ware, shower trays, fittings, etc.)
• Technical drawings and schedules for contractors, carpenters and other trades
• Site visits and follow-up, ensuring that execution matches the project and the details defined

Custom-made furniture

RL Home has extensive experience in creating bespoke, made-to-measure furniture – from design through to production and installation. Each piece is born from the needs of the space: functionality, beauty and durability in equal parts.

Materials & finishes
We work with lacquer, veneers and solid woods, stone, metal and glass, using premium fittings and hardware. Our focus is always on quality, ergonomics and integration with the overall interior design (including lighting and electrical work when required).

How we work
Site survey and technical design → sample approval → production → specialised installation with controlled deadlines. We can follow the process anywhere in the country, on site or online, depending on the project.

Fabrics, Curtains & Upholstery – In-house Workroom

Made-to-measure curtains

RL Home develops made-to-measure fabric, curtain and upholstery solutions, with in-house sewing, curated materials and specialist installation. We create curtains, fabric blinds, panels, blackouts, voiles, cushions, headboards and textile solutions tailored to the dimensions, light, use and style of each space.

Fabrics for each project

We work with a carefully selected range of decorative, technical and upholstery fabrics from national and international brands, chosen for their material quality, texture, durability and suitability for each project. Available references include Designers Guild, Alhambra, Dedar, Larsen, Ralph Lauren, Nobilis, Harlequin, Aldeco and other collections presented according to each client’s style, functional needs and budget.

More than simply supplying fabrics, we help select the right solution for each interior. In our showroom, by appointment, we present samples, colours, textures, transparencies, blackouts, technical options and finishes, ensuring that each choice is properly integrated into the interior design project.

Upholstery and reupholstery

We provide upholstery and reupholstery services for sofas, armchairs, chairs, headboards, poufs and other pieces. When the structure and comfort of the piece justify it, we propose reupholstery as a way to give it a new life with contemporary fabrics, refined finishes and a more sustainable, personalised solution.

How we work

We help choose fabrics, colours and textures according to the light, use, durability, maintenance requirements and style of the project. We handle on-site measurements, sewing in our atelier and final installation, ensuring that every element is well fitted, aligned and ready to use.

Showroom and consultation

Appointments are available at the RL Home showroom or, when appropriate, at the project location. We can also hold an initial online consultation, helping clients select suitable solutions before the final choice of fabrics and finishes.

Wallcoverings that transform a space
At RL Home we work with a curated selection of wallpapers and other wall and ceiling coverings, from several brands and with different technical features: vinyl, textile, natural and semi-technical finishes, plain or patterned. The aim is to find the right solution for each project – whether it is a home, shop or office – with personality, comfort and quality.

• Panels and feature-wall solutions

We help choose patterns, textures and colours according to the light, furniture and overall style of the project. In our showroom in Palmela/Azeitão you can see samples and catalogues from various brands, and when needed we can also present options directly on site.

Integrated supply and installation
We handle the whole process: measuring, quantity calculation, supply of materials and installation by specialised fitters, ensuring a neat and long-lasting finish.

For quality and warranty reasons, RL Home only provides installation services for wallpapers and wallcoverings supplied by our company.

This way we make sure that the materials, application method and final result all meet our standards.

Carpets and Rugs

Bespoke rugs and carpets

At RL Home, we design and supply made-to-measure rugs and carpets tailored to each project – from private homes to hotels, offices and other public spaces.

From standard to fully bespoke

We work with ready-made collections and custom rugs, including Beiriz rugs and luxury pieces in wool, New Zealand wool and Tencel. We can produce from our own designs or from the client’s brief, with different textures and pile heights – using techniques such as hand-tufted, hand-knotted and hand-woven.

We work with collections from manufacturers such as Ferreira de Sá, Lusotufo, Porto Oriente and other national and international brands.

Rugs and carpets made to be lived with

We also offer ranges widely used in hospitality and office projects: easy to clean, comfortable, anti-allergic and supplied in rolls to be cut to size. Leftover pieces can be transformed into additional rugs, reducing waste.

We cut almost any shape – round, oval, organic or “U-shaped” to go around the bed – adapting each rug to the architecture and furniture, in both contemporary and rustic interiors.
